bBrave is pleased to announce that it has been accepted as a Core Member of the Anti-Bullying Alliance (“ABA”). ABA is based in London with members hailing from around the world, including the UK, Ireland, Greece, Canada, the US, and now also Malta.
ABA brings together a wide range of organisations and individuals with a shared vision to unite against bullying, particularly for the benefit of children and youths. It works to achieve its objective in a number of ways, including the holding of campaigns, such as Anti-Bullying Week. It also works on policy, as well as the development of resources and the delivery of training. ABA also works closely with many of its partners.
Through its membership with ABA, bBrave shall collaborate with both ABA and its members with a view to stepping up its own knowledge about bullying and its effects, and how it can be mitigated. This will enable bBrave to better serve its mission to raise awareness on different forms of bullying, to facilitate assistance for individuals suffering from bullying and for the reform of individuals displaying bullying behaviour in Malta.
For more information on ABA, you may refer to its website at https://www.anti-bullyingalliance.org.uk/.
bBrave is currently also working on its website, as it believes that this medium will help it reach out to society more effectively.
